GRAHAM'S LATEST TUTORIAL

143. WOMAN IN A HEAD SCARF

After our advanced tutorial last time we’re doing a simple, single figure. This is what I start with on my in-person workshops. We have one focal point being the woman, and we can let our background run a little so we’re genuinely not too focused on background details. We do just one wash, and this is perfect for beginners and intermediate students alike. I really hope you enjoy this as it’s a great way to have some fun with your background and try to make your single figure the star of the painting. Enjoy…

I have loved watching Graham’s technique and his use of a limited pallet, especially his use of Cerulean Blue and Quin Gold! I have been using his colors and I think my paintings have improved. I would love to watch him do a landscape with leafy trees and a stream. Thanks for the great tutorials!

What I like most about this website is how user friendly it is. Also Graham is putting up some lovely exercises to try. Thank you.

Thank you for all the help. Love watching the process and I try to draw and watercolor as often as I can. Good subjects.

I always learn so much when watching Graham. His teaching style is clear and slow enough that I can paint along (sometimes). I also like his use of colors and mixing so I don't have to have a large amount of colors on my palette. thank you for doing these videos!

I have loved painting along with Graham Berry Watercolour World. Graham's instructions are easy to understand and apply. I'm improving my skills rapidly. When I'm finished with one of the tutorial's I can't believe how amazing my painting looks!

Very good site Graham has done a lot of pity that I can not always translate when i speak much easier for English students that I welcome and that I encourage to continue, but it is an excellent site.

Graham's tutorials are one of the best with great camera work that shows the artist, the palette, the subject and the paint-in-progress. My only request would be to have more 'quick' tutorials that take less than 30 mins. Quick studies. I'm not interested in doing a detailed painting as I haven't the patience.

REPLY: Shirley we've listened, you can now categorise the videos by under 1 hour or over 1 hour. I hope that helps. - Grahams support team.

I am really enjoying Graham's new teaching site. The website and set-up are easy to negotiate, and the teaching is clear, professional and concise. I like that some of the teaching videos have time jumps on them, which enables the artist to go back to any section for revision. The only suggestion i would like to make is that, during the period of subscription, the videos are able to be downloaded and viewed off-line. I do not always have a good web connection.

Reply: Hi Lulu, I wish we could do that but unfortunately we need Mohave an active connection to protect Grahams copyright. - Grahams support team
